The Challenge

Rosebud came to us thinking it needed help with Instagram. After more than ten years in Pasadena and a new location in Highland Park, the real question was bigger: where would the next growth come from, and was the mission doing any work?

The Insight

We interviewed 67 customers in person. People walked in for the coffee and because the shop was local. What brought them back was the mission: helping young people transitioning out of foster care. Customers who connected with it visited about twice as often, yet most didn’t know about it.

The Solution

We grouped customers into three priority audiences and gave each one its own positioning, objectives and tactics. Rosebud then brought us back to run local SEO and Meta ads against that plan.

Working with Luke at BeaconBrand was a genuine pleasure. We brought him on to develop a marketing playbook, and he exceeded expectations. What stood out most was the time he took to actually understand our customers — surveying them directly and giving us insights we hadn’t had before.

Beyond strong strategic recommendations, Luke’s real gift was how he worked with us. He listened to our ideas and made us feel heard, rather than just handing us a plan. It felt less like working with an outside consultant and more like adding a team member for the project.

Through it all, he never lost sight of the goal: driving real growth in our sales. We identified additional revenue opportunities to increase our monthly average by 40%.

If you’re looking for a consultant who combines strategy with genuine collaboration, we definitely recommend working with Luke.
