Pawsitively Jeanna
Market research revealed a sizable, underserved market a Marina del Rey dog-care business could own.
- 10local competitors audited to find an open position
- 4value propositions clarified and presented on the new website
- 5page website with online booking
The Challenge
Jeanna had built her business on referrals: dog-park conversations and happy owners telling friends. With no website, people who met her had nowhere to go, and leads slipped away. She offered daycare, boarding, grooming and walks for any dog, which made her hard to tell apart from everyone else nearby.
The Insight
We audited ten local competitors. Only one other home-based business focused on small dogs, and its website was dated with no online booking. Small-dog owners worry about their dogs playing with big ones, yet almost no one spoke to them directly. The niche existed. Nobody owned it.
The Solution
We positioned Pawsitively Jeanna as Marina del Rey’s small-dog daycare: dogs under 25 lbs, a home instead of a kennel, and a meet-and-greet before any new dog joins the group. The new website leads with that promise and lets owners book a meet-and-greet online.
